About Us

The Sleepy Eye Baseball Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting baseball in the Sleepy Eye community. Founded in 1949, the association maintains and operates the historic Sleepy Eye Baseball Field, one of the few remaining active ballparks where Babe Ruth played during his famous 1922 barnstorming tour.

The association supports baseball opportunities for all ages, from T-Ball and youth programs to high school and amateur baseball. Each year, the ballpark hosts more than 100 games and serves as the home field for Sleepy Eye Public, Sleepy Eye St. Mary's, Legion, VFW, youth baseball, and the Sleepy Eye Indians amateur team.

Through volunteer efforts, community support, and ongoing fundraising, the Sleepy Eye Baseball Association works to preserve the rich baseball tradition of Sleepy Eye while investing in improvements that will serve future generations of players and fans.
